Aptar Beauty Expands U.S. Production for Meridian Aerosol Actuator Platform

Aptar Beauty is strengthening its U.S manufacturing capabilities with expanded production of its versatile Meridian aerosol actuator platform in its Cary, Illinois, manufacturing facility. 

Designed to deliver premium shelf appeal and exceptional user experience, the Meridian platform combines modern aesthetics, ergonomic performance, and broad formulation compatibility across a wide range of applications.

To support growing customer demand and better service, production of Meridian Spray has transitioned from Querétaro, Mexico, to Cary. 

Capacity has been expanded for Meridian Mousse, already locally available, to provide better value to customer partners. 

Available in two formats, Meridian Spray and Meridian Mousse, the platform provides flexibility to support a wide range of formulations while maintaining a consistent premium design. 

Meridian Spray is designed for spray and powder formulations, while Meridian Mousse is optimized for mousse, foam, gel, and lotion applications.

Meridian combines modern aesthetics and ergonomic performance in a versatile, hooded aerosol actuator. 

Clean lines, rounded contours, and a soft-touch matte finish create a premium appearance that enhances shelf presence. 

A textured finger pad, light actuation force, and increased actuator height improve comfort, control, and application precision for a superior dispensing experience.

Both actuators are compatible with Aptar Beauty’s VX Valve for continuous dispensing and Bag-on-Valve (BOV) systems for 360-degree dispensing. Meridian Spray is also compatible with Aptar’s U.S.-manufactured AAT High Powder Valve, making it ideal for high-powder and shimmer formulations. 

Additional insert options allow customization of spray patterns, particle size, and output rates, including a fan insert designed for even distribution of products such as cooking oils.
